My blogoversary!

Wowzer, it's my blogoversary! Doesn't seem possible!I know tons of people out there do giveaways for their blogoversary, a huge blog party.... it's not happening. I am just to lazy and I am in a blogging funk, unless it has to do with my book blog. Book blogs are so much easier, you also have something to talk about.

I'm a Dooce virgin

I have been blogging for almost two years now, just another small time blogger, with big dreams on what she wants her blog to be, but lacking the time to see it through.
In those two years you would think I would have gone to visit Dooce's blog, I mean she is like the mother of all bloggers, or so it seems, but still here I sit, missing out on the ship that sets sail without me daily.
Hi, my name is Tena, and I am a virgin!! Okay clearly I am not Mary herself, I am knocked up for the 4th time, but I am a Dooce blog virgin! It's nice to have the word virgin in your title, and I will get it anyway I can!
Okay, so hold the phone... I heading over there now, I am both nervous and excited and I hope it doesn't hurt... be right back
Wow, she is big!!! What a fan base she has, but I am a little overwhelmed over there. My comment would get lost in all those comments. Man, one of her post gets what most people get when they are hosting the world's best giveaway. Kudo's to her!!!
Okay, so yes I want my blog to be bigger, but I can face facts that my little piece of blogging real estate will never be a huge mansion like Dooce.
Okay can someone please admit that they are a Dooce virgin? I can hold you hand while you jump right over there and see what it is all about... ha ha ha!
I will forsure head over there once in awhile, but I think I will stick to my smaller bloggers.

That's me today... sums it up perfectly....blah!

I am dead tired, my lack of sleep in the last few months is finally taking it's toll on my body, I believe it is time to put a call into the doctor's. Ack! Just what I don't want to deal with right now.

Add that to not feeling good, I have cramps that are making me want to go lie on the bathroom floor in the fetal position. I curse you!!!

The weather here in So Cal sucks big time today. I thought the rain and winds were going to rip the roof off the house last night. Gloomy day, and more showers are on the way.

I am giving up power of the Christmas tree this year, that is a big thing for me! I went and got a much, much smaller tree and I went through all my ornaments and just got the ones that would not break and the boys are about to decorate it. I am going to sit back and take long, deep breaths! I know in the long run this will save me tons of sanity, because baby 'M' is at that age when the tree is just way to tempting for his little fat fingers.

We will follow that with decorating a gingerbread house, playing Memory, having dinner and hopefully the boys will crash early!

I close with some exciting news... I won a fantastic prize over at MomDot. I won the complete series or Harry Potter books plus the new book; The Tales of Beedle The Bard book!

Punky Monkey's: Translated

A few people have asked me how I came up with the name for my blog. I am sure the monkey part is easy, tons of people call their kids monkey's. Here is the low down on the blog name....


Punky: My boys are my life. They show unconditional love, give me tons of laughs a day and make me a happier person, but... they are PUNKS!! No way around it, 100% punks! Of course "Punks Monkey's" does not flow so I added a ' y'... Punky Monkey's. In this house punk is a tern of endearment! HA HA HA!


Monkey's: E-A-S-Y.. they climb, pick and get into everything. As they get older they move on to a new monkey trait. 'D' loves to "pick" on 'J', he just knows that buttons to push. 'J' loves to jump on beds, and one up's it by actually singing the monkey's jumping on the bed song! @@! Baby 'M' just might be the worst monkey in the house. He climbs everything! The book shelved, climbs on chairs to sit on the dinning room table, and well don't ever get me started on baby gates! USELESS!! He climbs right over them. As I type this baby 'M' just shoved 'J'! It never stops!
