If Tomorrow Never Comes

This weekend was both a trying and emotional one. I was pushed farther than I ever thought I could be pushed in my "young" life. I was tested to the limits, and although I still don't know if I won or failed, I made it to the other side.

I learned to hold tighter with each embrace given to me by my handsome boys, and to let myself be hugged a little longer in the arms of Jim.

I also realized that I have no control over my life and the sooner I stop trying to take the reins from the Lord, the beter. I may not know why He gave us this blessing of a 4th child, but He did. My prayers are answered... time and time again. I just need to stop looking for my answers and start, seeing, seeking and accepting His!

Life is an occasion, that is over before we realize it.... we can rise to meet the every day challenges, or we can sit there and watch the world pass us by, without leaving our mark.

Here is my question for the day:

What is the one thing you think of that always makes you smile?

For me, today... this very moment... the one thing that always makes me smile when I think about it is my new found strength.

I have always been a strong person, but I let that girl escape for a time, and I need her to come back, my boys need her to come back, and my husband needs her to come back, so I vow to myself to continue to allow her to shine again.

Okay, so if you read the post before this, you all know that I am going through a rough, hard, terrible time right now. But.... things remain the same... I am still a mommy, daughter, sister and friend

I plan on falling in love again, and I have high hopes that this happens soon. You all must be thinking I am crazy right now... falling in love so fast, especially when I still love my husband.

The person I hope to fall in love with again, is the person that is always with me, the person I see when I look in the mirror. I have pushed her off, and let her go on the back burner. I have belittled her, called her names, and I have been unfaithful to her. NO MORE!

I will learn to love myself again!
