Here in California, September can still feel a lot like summer. We normally move from hot sunny days, to hot muggy days. Other places seem to have moved on to nice cool fall weather, with leaves changing color, but here in So Cal, we are still thinking about putting our swimsuits back on ( okay, for the record I never think about putting a swimsuit on). Here are a few things I love about September....
- My oldest monkey!!! He entered the world two weeks past his due date, giving this mommy a sapphire baby. September 1st 2001!!!
- Back to school! Yes, I said it, back to school ( there said it again). Come September, I am so ready to
pawn take D back to school so that I can have my sanity back he can feed his mind! Yes, I do realize that I stand alone in the love for back to school, most dread this.
- Fall television. If there were laws about over working your DVR (tivo) I would fall into the catergory of over working mine. Isn't it better to over work my DVR than my child, now that is a law I do know is in affect! Grey's Anatomy , Private Practice, Survivor, Amazing Race, Vampire Diaries ( yes I am a 29 year old mother stuck in a teenager's body/mind frame). My list is longer but I will spare you the long list. Comment me if you are a tv junkie and we can talk!
- Disneyland!!!! There is no better time to be a pass holder than September. People are done having their vacations and with school starting back up, means my parks, yes my parks... are empty! Add in the fall decor, the only way we will see the leaves change color here in So Cal, and the pumpkins, well I am just in Heaven thinking about it!
- Flip flops. A lot of people in other area's are having to put their precious flip flops away, or at least having to think about it. Not me!!!! I love that I am still rocking out in my flip flops, truth..... I could add this to my list for every month, because I never pack my flip flops away.
